Tra gli artisti che hanno inciso le sue canzoni vi sono Cab Calloway, Billy Eckstine, Dinah Shore, Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney, Louis Armstrong, Peggy Lee, Shirley Bassey, Tony Bennett, Julie Andrews, Judy Garland e Barbra Streisand, che registrò decine di canzoni di Arlen nei suoi album degli anni '60.
